Imaginesim ZSPD in v5 SODE

Recommended Posts

I know that Imaginesim's ZSPD is not yet officially compatible with v5, however it seems to have installed fine by manual adding in the scenery library.

However, I've checked SODE jetways in the airport configurator, however no jetways are shown at all. See here https://imgur.com/71ClV56

If I deselect SODE jetways in the configurator, I just get default non-movable jetways.

Do I need to add a SODE file?

Thanks

Works fine in my P3Dv5.  The Imaginesim configurator should place "ImagineSim_ZSPD1_PD4_Stands.xml' file in the programdata\12bpilot\sode\xml\ folder and a corresponding folder full of mdl files in the sode simobject folder.

I checked and I have the xml file in the SODE xml folder and the mdl folder in the simobject folder, but I still get this...

Sorry to bring this post up again, but I still haven't managed to get SODE jetways working in ZSPD.

I've selected SODE in the ImagineSim Ops Centre, have the xml files in the SODE xml folder and the mdl folder in the SODE simobject folder. But still, no jetways. If I deselect SODE in the ops centre I get the default ones back (but they don't move).

Any ideas?

Thanks

Here is how I solved my problem:

1. Open the SODE xml file at C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml\ImagineSim_ZSPD1_PD4_Stands.xml

2. Change TargetSimID of each jetway to P3Dv5

Also, if you use both P3Dv4 and P3Dv5, change all instances of

TargetSim ID="P3Dv4"

to

TargetSim ID="P3Dv4;P3Dv5"

That will keep it working on both platforms.

Fantastic guys, this worked a treat! Thanks so much.

The airport does appear to have a 'floating' scenery on top of ground level, see here https://imgur.com/JS6ZQfh

Any way I can fix this?

Thanks again all.

You need an updated afcad. Afcad ZSPD_ADEX_ADE_P3D_high.bgl for P3D5

If you need the other one pm me.

What's the other file you mention?

Depending on the options, if you choose less ai traffic parkings, e.g. because of performance. The one from me is for lot of ai, therefore ...high.bgl in the name.

Hello,

I'm late to the game, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix the elevation issue? I've installed the AFCAD file along with the appropriate files in the SODE and SIMOBJECT folders but I'm still seeing a floating layer. (The default jetways are working).

Any help is appreciated!
