February 3, 20215 yr I was surfing Youtube like I usually do (better than Jeremy Kyle on TV!) and found an urbex channel. The guys were exploring the old BA Training Centre at Cranebank? (closed a few years ago). Astounding how much junk?? is left behind. At about 11.59 I wonder what all those components in bubble wrap are? February 4, 20215 yr Moderator Gah! That place is a bio-hazard! That facility was abandoned with a ton of still good equipment in place. It's kind of sad actually at so much waste. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
February 5, 20215 yr Old, stale and outdated. Yup that will be our Spainish national carrier.😁 I expect Unite and Balpa live in those rigs. Any chance I get....
February 7, 20215 yr Very sad to see, i did part of my b1 approval in that very engineering room. I did hear that it had been taken over by travellers for a while. Certainly not the worlds favourite airline from that video, Pete Little

I think lufthansa took it off them because they flew more punters, hence not being the 'worlds favourite' and then I think Ryanair then took it off of lufthansa. I could be wrong though. Well at least BA is the most diverse nowadays. You never know if youre getting Nigel, Nicolette (or something inbetween) driving you nowadays 😃 Edited February 8, 20215 yr by fluffyflops
February 11, 20215 yr Author Interesting. Thanks. Bio-hazard to us humans agreed, but nature seems to be taking over! I must be a bit of a hoarder at heart, (and in reality!) but surely some of the stuff which was left may have been of use before it rotted? In fact some of the aircraft seats look fine. Man cave (or woman cave!) furnishings perhaps?
