I emailed the LM team this morning,

They informed they are still working on planned site maintenance and some things are taking a little longer than expected... so nothing to worry about folks it will be up soon.

Regards,

S.

I'd be surprised if we're in for a new version at the moment...When did we get the initial 5.1 realise? November 20? Isn't it normally 6-8 months between point releases?

That said, I'd love to see an update pushed out - I love EA but it needs some work..... and there are some issues with the SimConnect menu/box that cause me grief...

Everything @ prepar3d.com is down for me in the UK at 0930 local time. More specifically, the name servers serving the domain are not responding to DNS requests.

This suggests that they're moving hosts and are moving the domain itself to a new host, or else there's a big outage at their hosting provider. The server address that the domain pointed to most recently is not responding at all (suggests it's been taken offline), but that wouldn't stop name resolution from working, so it has to be a problem with the domain or DNS infrastructure.

Given we have no details of the work they're doing, it's anyone's guess as to when things will come back, or in what form. We'll just have to wait and see!

And now it's all back. Seems to still be at the same IP address. Hmm. I wonder what the DNS outage was about, then?

Anyway... back for me in the UK. Hopefully it'll stay that way.
