February 16, 20215 yr I've not experienced a ctd all weekend although I have been flying in places where I have no add on scenery (Japan) and do not have the spikes fix installed as I've seen only a few spikes anyway.
February 16, 20215 yr What I basically like is that they can do background improvements „live“ by changing/injecting data/code or whatsoever. What I do not like is if these are changed/injected without prior information/ communication. I wonder how often this happened in the past and is possibly causing these „MSFS mysteries“ some including me see every once in a while with missing splash screen, click to proceed buttons and let alone various CTDs. No idea when this „Bing CTD“ reason was initially created or discovered but since I disabled Bing data I am happily flying without any CTD... February 16, 20215 yr Mine has been far better since the update fiasco.. I have suffered not one in flight CTD since then.. not one. Gone are the driver timeout ctd's as are the Vcc Runtime dll ctd's.. Maybe this issue has been a round for longer than we think... February 16, 20215 yr Aha... Purchased ORBX EGNT (Newcastle) last night before i came acroos this thread...First CTD in the new sim.. No more new scenry until this is fixed, Shame as i was just starting to 'Tame" MSFS 2020 and really enjoying it.. Dave
