I use the following MODS that are fully compatible between them (1) Especially useful MOD for TBM9 https://github.com/mixMugz/msfs_tbm930_project (2) "Harding & Performance" MOD. Full compatible with the G3000 MOD (see next) https://www.nexusmods.com/microsoftflightsimulator/mods/267 Have you tested the compatibility between mixMugs' mod and the second one?

First, on takeoff roll I cant throttle up more than about 60% forward throw on my throttle lever without over torqueing the engine, so I can only use around 50% of available throw as safety measure... ...and then, if I want to fly low/slow under 200kts at only a few thousand feet of altitude I need to cut throttles ALL THE WAY back to near zero throw (using a saitek throttle quad which seems to be calibrated ok). I'm using the Mugz mod which adds drag once you drop the gear...I've been away 6 months since i last flew this plane but i dont recall it being THIS slippery was it? Or is the mod itself the issue here, does anyone know? I have a similar issue, especially since the latest update of both the core sim and mixMugz's mod. I'm using an old Thrustmaster HOTAS. Pushing the throttle past the middle point pretty much guarantees that the torque is in the red. I, too, have to pull it all the way back. During approach and landing the throttle is almost at idle. I haven't had time to trouble shoot and check whether it's something on my end or something to do with the updates and the mods. Not a biggie, though, since I'm still able to slow down to vapp and vref. As I said, it might just be my cheap plasticky throttle. It's probably not your throttle, and just the mod, Asobo changes, and some people not realizing that there's an issue. Now, for the TBM930 I find this video ( he also has a guideline doc package) ... worth looking at it for sure. April 2, 20215 yr I can confirm that with both mixMugz and Jaydee's(the one on nexusmods) mods installed togehter, the problem of torque indication vs. physical throttle position is significantly reduced. For example, at a torque setting of 94% my throttle is about 90% through its travel. Also, both mods seem to work well together. Edited April 2, 20215 yr by Ricardo41
April 2, 20215 yr Which order do you load those 2 mods in, I mean which one loads first and then second? The real TBM930 performs final approach with a torque setting in the low 20s typically and the plane using full flaps/gear down and a nose down attitude. I can't do anything like this with these mods as the plane will slow too much and you would land short of the runway using real world torque numbers. Your torque should not be in the 30's or 40s, thats much too high. I'm not sure if its an engine issue or an issue of drag. Either the mods are using too much drag or the engines are too weak, or the shaft torque is wrong. This I wouldn't know. Im loading the mods with Jaydee's loading in first, then mugz second. April 3, 20215 yr You are correct, those are proper numbers. The tbm930_improvement mod did a very good job of emulating proper performance. What happened is the last update from Asobo trashed it. I still use that mod and enjoy flying it, though I now have to use torque levels similar to yours. I hope the issue is rectified in the next update - they have been informed. The ironic thing is that before the patch, I actually used a little less power with the mod than the RW numbers, but they were pretty close. (I only use the mugz mod along with the WT g3000. April 3, 20215 yr Thank you, @RandallR for confirming about the patch negating the mod as it was intended. That's a real shame as this is the plane I'm wanting to fly the most. Edited April 3, 20215 yr by hangar Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
April 3, 20215 yr I'm still flying it and she still handles pretty well, but, as you say, the settings are now off. Because of the situation, WT actually added a recommendation in their g3000 update re: this TBM mod. They recommended a temp fix for the improper redlining of the airspeed indicator with a small edit to the mod's flight_model.cfg. I've saved a copy of the original file so I can easily pop it back after the situation is resolved. It works - I can now run her right up to high cruise with proper torque settings in the 96 - 100% zone and leave it there. No more red-lining at improperly low IAS. Though I am forced to use much higher torque settings in the approach, I can also descend at normal IAS in the 230 -250 range. Once at 50 AGL, I've found I can pull to about 10% before flare and land almost normally, pulling to 0% torque just before touchdown and holding 5-7 degrees in the flare. Randall Rocke

Not sure how you would prioritze the order in which they are loaded. With both mods installed I cruise at around 95-97% torque without getting the red flashing. Installing mixMugz's mod and not the other one, I can't push the throttle much past the half way point on my throttle without getting the red flashing. Works for me. Alternatively, we can wait 10 years for someone to release a properly functioning turboprop model. I'm not holding my breath. Edited April 3, 20215 yr by Ricardo41

Well I've started to modify the mod myself, lol. I've fixed most of what I needed to get better results now but I still need to find a fix for the excessive amount of flap drag that occurs during the second notch of flaps (landing flaps). Anyone know how to set the amount of drag per each position of flap? **EDIT: Never mind, found it...finally getting somewhere now. Now it's just a matter of finding & testing to get just the right balance between induced drag of the fuselage -vs- flap drag for each flap detent. Torque settings for final approach are already coming down to more realistic levels here. Edited April 3, 20215 yr by hangar Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
