March 12, 20215 yr I haven't flown the TBM 930 in a while so before I opened up FS2020 I updated the latest TBM 930 improvement mod, and the WT G3000 4.2 mod. When I went to fly all screens are blank. Nothing. Tried different liveries, went back and deleted and reinstalled both mods still nothing. Any have any ideas? Thanks for the help. Rodger
March 12, 20215 yr This is a 'known issue' in the current version of the sim. https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016027399-KNOWN-ISSUES-Last-modified-Feb-16-2021- Quote On rare occasions, Aircraft screens might not initialize correctly upon loading a flight. Please restart the flight to fix the issue. I'm not sure how MS/Asobo define 'rare'. AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals

Ok, thanks. Not sure how many times I gotta try this. Third time. Appreciate the help.

March 12, 20215 yr Author Guess third try was a charm. Everything work pretty much as advertised. However I'm finding that ever since the latest update, I'm having trouble shutting down aircraft. Generator switches, battery switches and some other switches will not turn off. I click on them as normal to turn them off and they move to the off position and then spring right back to the on position. Can't figure that one out either.

Are you using a yoke with switches as well? It defaults to those 🙂 SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

For months I had no problems shutting the a/c down but after this update I haven't been able to shut one down yet.
March 13, 20215 yr Well for me, the tbm screens are completely blank and yet I can start the engines.. ..if I remove the latest WT cj4 mod from the community folder then restart the sim everything works in the tbm just fine.....I just can't weigh it up! These updates bugger everything up dont they! Regards Paul EGCC
March 16, 20215 yr Yes, I tried removing the CJ4, then removing the TBM mod (then adding another version). All efforts have failed. The TBM screens remain black. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file
March 16, 20215 yr For once I'm in the "works for me" camp. In case this is of any help to anyone with troubles, the TBM mods I use are: https://flightsim.to/file/8288/tbm930-improvement-mod and the Garmin 3000: https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages/releases/tag/g3000-v0.4.2 I would, however, trade a working TBM for a working sim...takers, any takers - PLEASE?! i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

Thanks! I tried re-installing the TBM mod but didn't do the same with the G3000. Having done that--I'm back in business again. ;o) https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file
March 16, 20215 yr I now have the Longitude back and appears to be working and the TBM appears to be working. Got to wonder if minor updates are being done without getting anything on the update screen. Only thing with the TBM is now the instrument lighting is not working.
March 16, 20215 yr Odd thing about the TBM...I'm finding that I can't engage the autopilot about half the time. It seems to work if I reboot the flight or the sim. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

Then go into "Content" in the in-sim menu and delete the stock TBM, then install the stock TBM, close the sim and install the TBM improvement mod and the G-3000 mod. (After deleting the stock TBM, make sure the TBM folder is deleted from Packages\Official\OneStore before reinstalling the stock TBM.) Be curious to know if that does anything for you. The whole process shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 min. or so. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
