@MilvizRe : the compass weird behaviour I spoke of earlier in this thread

I had a case today after leaving the cockpit for a drone screenshot and getting back. What should I believe, the instruments or the map ? The heading shown by the instruments, 347°,  is the proper one and the aircraft was on this heading,  before I went out to get the  screenshot

But even weirder is that when I took the pic just above in Active Pause, the needle and compass were slowly moving... See maybe 10 seconds after.

EDIT the instruments went back slowly to normal. It looks like the drone mode may interfere with something, the map or the aircraft. And I was glad to be very close to my alternate, VLLB, where I landed.

Nothing on there suport pagers.

I wish it would come, cannot wait to get rid of the upfrount glass.

Yes it makes trimming more difficult than it should.

And if they could make a model without the external tanks ! Nobody will fly long hours of CAP in the sim ! Who do flights which need more than the full internal tanks ?

Just empty some fuel out and they'll disappear.

Coming very soon... Compiling the (large) list of bug fixes and mods/additions to the product, off to the testers and... out to y'all (and to the marketplace and vendors...)

 

(gunsight glass is now on/off as is engine SPLAT)

This is what I do  😄 but it gets repetitive specially when practicing a difficult landing if you see what I mean .

if there was a "clear" way to put tanks on and off without using fuel/weight... we'd do it....

Yes, it will go on orbx but we much prefer if you buy direct from us as we get to keep all of the $$$!

It will be very soon now... we are finalizing the changelog, final testing (to make sure it's good) and then... out the door she goes... I figure... Friday... (note, this ISN'T a PROMISE... )

The problem with "very soon" is PMDG version of that is 6 months.🙂

Thanks. I understand the limitation. The point is that if the initial model had no tank, there won't be any problem. Now, I understand that you do not want to to remake it. Fair enough. But please, if there are other birds of that kind in the pipeline, external tanks just to look pretty, are unnecessary, As seen from my balcony. 😀

i think we fixed this in the SP.....

BTW, I like the way it looks with the tanks... hence the reason they were there in the first place... and... as the owner, i do get a say...  (sometimes)
