This is called 'pig latin'. Look for it in Google. Ixnay means 'no'.

And, oh yes @Milviz, can you clean the windows a little bit, what was the last pilot  in the seat, PigPen 😄?

Look at the good side of it. An old Frenchman has translated to you a common North American English expression 🤣.

As per the way the sim is working now (or not, depending on your point of view), we cannot actually make the supercharger OR WEP OR mixture work as they are supposed to.  Asobo is aware of this and has said that they hope to have a fix in the next update.

As for how it flies, we have reworked the stall/slow speed effects and those will be in the SP.

We have also set up the reticle glass, along with the gunsight controls, removable.

As well, we have fixed a whole bunch of bugs.

We are also adding weapons (non functional so far) for the non marketplace version.

It needs to be said, that if you fly with someone who doesn't own the bird, and it's purchased from outside the marketplace, you will NOT see the Corsair.

Other than that, the plane is off size by about 5%.  This is negligible (in our view) and will not be fixed.  The plane is MASSIVE compared to most other aircraft of it's type.  The prop is 14 (FOURTEEN) feet in diameter (or is 13?) (I can't remember!) so it's a big BIG hunk of metal.

Taking off and landing requires finesse along with making SURE your trims are good, tail wheel is locked AND, you're ready with rudder/ailerons when the tail wheel leaves the ground.  Do NOT pull up as you will stall.  WAIT and gently tweak the stick back a bit and you will, if you've done it right, fly right off the ground.  Landing, with that nose... well... good luck.

If you notice things... (like backwards text) those are, for the most part, fixed.  That said, please do not hesitate to get on our support forums and ...  let us know.  We are open to fixing things not related to scale or sim specific issues over which we have no control.

Thanks for liking this one...

Incoming next...  something almost as big but easier to handle....

When is the update coming out.

Is there anyway to setup the plane or adjust the config file not to have the engine oil splat, if you just want to fly for fun, and not looking for true realism experience?

Just set the RPM to 2600 or so, manifold pressure around 4000 (which means 60 to 70% throttle or so) and open the cowl flaps. Do this after takeoff. Engine stays cool this way, no need to constantly adjust something. Then you can fly for hours. If the engine still gets a bit warm you can chose "rich auto" mixture which should keep it a bit cooler than "lean auto". In real life you just can't fly with full RPM and full throttle all the time. 🙂

Besides the good advice from crimplene above, remember that the assistance panel helps you to tune the simming experience to your liking.

It is a radial, refill the oil and blue smoke, check the gasoline.

The blue smoke is important, radials will not run properly without it.

Yeah... we're not going to be removing the dirt from the windows or changing anything related to the "splatter".

The "splat" is, unfortunately, custom coded which means, the assistance panel will not have an effect.  You MUST watch your temps... (we are, however, going to add a bit more time and also a bit more leeway on this... )

If the Assistance panel>Failure & damage>Engine stress damage is on "disabled"; won't that solve Karl's problem ?

Of course, he will then miss all the fun !

Look forward to a bit of a fix at least on the Splat.

Seems weird to have a temp in low greens one second, and then over the top pegged needle next second, and splat.   Should be a bit slower, giving you an opportunity to correct the temp.

when is the fix coming, the windshield fix is something I am looking for as well, as in VR its pretty distracting, the seam of the glass just gets in the way.
