Milviz Corsair?

Mixture basically has no effect that we can ascertain.  Again, mixture, throttle, WEP and superchargers seem to be broken so there's a lot of fakery going on.  We are waiting on a fix that will, with luck, at least allow us to code it outside as we did in P3D.

Some axis do not work properly.  Investigations are ongoing.

Pretty much what we are seeing on our P-40 too. Mixture especially is wired in a VERY strange way.

I love the Corsair. Haven't had a blown up engine yet (but then I do watch gauges), but one thing I would like to see is more realistic slow flight characteristics (and stall). Although I suspect the SDK is the limiting factor here.

HOWEVER, one thing that did pique my interest was the mention of something as large, but easier to fly. May I ask for another hint or two @Milviz😀

Well the rumor mill speaks of a 2700 hp Wright Cyclone with a 4.11m diameter propeller, 15.25 m foldable wings, 4.8m in height beast cruising st 200 mph.

The Beaver is for sure in the pipeline and we're... uh... beavering along...  that's not the one....  I think Dominique is speaking of the Skyraider and that one is for sure as well...  but not yet.

a hint...  mmmmm....  alright... one word, two syllables, first syllable:  I would go to ___ and back for you....

If that's not enough for ya... oh well.

We're talking to Asobo about the mixture and, if other devs do so as well... who knows, maybe we can get them to move faster...

I was trying to set up a button for centering rudder and aileron (trim). Does't work. Or is this an MSFS flaw?

Karl

Rudder reset to 0 works I have it set, Aileron I have not found a way. But the Rudder reset works well. But Aileron you dont want to reset to 0 as you always need 5 right.

There is a Rudder+Aileron reset you might try.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread already but any chance the update would allow the option to remove that magnifying gunsight glass.

Thx

Like I said Reset rudder is needed and works.

You dont want to reset Aileron to 0 as you always need 5 right for the FG to fly level.

That's great to hear.

On a different topic which also may have been addressed already but is it actually possible to drop the fuel tanks while in flight.  I use the switches as per the manual but they don't release, is that a limitation of the sim atm and we can only remove them by adjusting the fuel using the menu or am I missing something.

Jettison is possible but it's not well done... they fall up, then forward then down and back...  so... something awry there.  For now, it's a no.  We're looking at this though.

Just tried again. There are "Center Aileron", "Center Rudder" and "Center Ailer Rudder". None works for me;

I made a lua script in FSUIPC that can trim and center all three surfaces, that works.

The Rudder sometimes trims to the opposite direction. This does not happen always:
