Just want to say I took a flight over Brussels yesterday and was absolutely gob smacked.   The detail and performance was unlike anything I've seen in a sim before.  Really impressed.  I had done a flight earlier in the day that was a stutter fest and after the update not only was the detail noticeably improved but so was performance.

So yeah, no whining here.

I flew around Brussels too, amazing.

but visually at low altitude and above flat ground it's not good at all

I flew at 1,000 feet over Belgium and up to Amsterdam, which is is about as flat as you can get, It looked great,

Please do not hesitate to show us by shots!!!! and then I will show you with the red marker where your last trees stop.

If you have the equivalent of this old xp11 with trees so far away you will win!

I'm just curious, is it normal that after you install a world update, you have to go to the marketplace and "buy" the world update content and then download it in the profile manager? Or is there something weird going on with my installation?

Yes. And I appreciate that it is that way.  I fly in the USA, Caribbean, and into southern Canada.  I have not installed the World Updates for Japan, the British Isles, or this one and will only do so when I do fly in those areas.  Saves storage space.  Don't wish to start a feud here but I expect that keeping those World Updates on the shelf for now may also affect loading times for the sim and perhaps other resources when in flight here.  In any case they cannot consume at least some resources if still on the shelf (waiting on the side in Content Manager).

I dunno, I did a flight over Georgia yesterday and flying over a forest I actually couldn't see the end of the trees anywhere.  Will have to go look again

Try with Flat terrain as easy as that like the north of France for example or england...

Am at work but if your not, can you try a LOD of 300 or 400 and see what that does....TY

It's funny. I wasn't even interested in you for a single second. Are you in need of affection? you are looking for friends.

I have flown over that area in real life and yesterday in MSFS, looked about the same to me. Not interested in proving anything to anybody.

Exactly my sentiments, if I didn't even notice what you are describing and that pleased with my performance and visuals no one is going to "win" or prove anything to me...

MSFS has no problem looking like the real thing but with the reduced distance to trees and buildings around your aircraft at low altitude.I'm not complaining about MSFS but about the small radius of distance.

No, I'm a landscape gardener, I was thinking I can plant some trees for you and give a few less things to complain about, like not being able to see a Sycamore from 50NM is all. Peace out sister.

Just saying I'm not seeing it...  Over Brussels and Northern Georgia yesterday the LOD, autogen levels and visibility all the way to the horizon was impeccable.  I have no issues with what you are describing.
