Is Orbx Landmarks Paris/London even worth it now?

If I have the OrbX London Landmarks installed it messes up the photogrammetry. So no, it's not worth it IMO.

If you install the incorrect Marketplace version of Orbx London Landmarks for your MSFS installation, or if you set the Orbx Central control panel to be incompatible with your chosen installation, then indeed there will be anomalies. Please do not confuse that with a fault with the product.

I'm a little puzzled here. How can you install the "incorrect" version from the in-sim marketplace?

How do you set OrbX central to be compatible? When I install London Landmarks (V2.0) from OrbX central and take off from EGLC I get only patchy photogrammetry with large blank areas. If I uninstall it the photogrammetry is fine?

Ah! Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Edit: Yes, that might be it. It's on the wrong setting.  I'll reinstall when I finish my flight

2nd Edit: That was it. Thank you.

Now that you have been shown how to correctly use the product, is it "worth it"?

If you still have the original and have added WU3, there will be anomalies that can be resolved by deleting the original and installing the current version instead.

Well it works. Not sure what's been added to be honest. Looks like there's more boats on the Thames.

Personally, I don't think the London PG needs any help getting messed up, it's pretty bad all on its own. For me, PG off but London Landmarks in place works well.

(and hey, I notice you're in Torquay too - let's start a campaign to get a fully modelled Torbay area out of Asobo!)

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Or we should try to get OrbX to do a Torbay Landmarks pack. It would be easy. Contents would be zero!😂

Perhaps they could borrow the landscape for the town centre from Zombie Apocalypse III or similar?

They could rebuild Fawlty Towers!

Back on topic, I bet there are plenty of people (me included) who didn't realise your could configure the city landmarks in Orbx Central. Not exactly well publicised (unless perhaps you browse the Orbx forums regularly?). It could do with being highlighted in Central (Big red letters on yellow!) at the very least. I've been running the pre- update version with WU Update 3.🙄
