Flightsim Chair - Looks Interesting

Your setup looks just as unsightly and wobbly, fragile, prone to warping/cracks and flimsy as you assume the NLR chair would be.

I do appreciate you actually backing up your assumptions with showing us your setup and actual technical know how unlike others in this thread.

This isn't realistic by a long shot. You are simply moving goal posts now.

The chair comes with 5 seating positions that are specific to its adjustable spring and clamp compression designs.

Your next goal post will be assuming and expecting everyone to have that level of technical expertise to actually make your "budget contraption" work with the 5 seating positions.

Or they could simply buy an already assembled foldable chair for the same price that a company has already done the R&D/engineering for.

Also of note is that he hasn’t provided a link for a chair. He’s provided a link for a plastic tray which clips to a chair.

It’s beyond ridiculous.

The people interested in this, are not interested in that.

Plus, Dogmansbirds setup would not actually be welcome in my house: too unsightly, and sure to attract the eye and ire of any nesting female.

This thread is hilarious....

What would make a woman cringe more?

A clean solid foldable gaming chair or a bunch of plywood, pcv/plumbing piping, nuts, bolts, sawdust, potential splinter hazards on the carpet and a seat of an actual car sitting inside of a house?

Yea the whole "nesting female" argument should have been left alone in the first place in this thread pertaining to our particular hobby.

Not sure where some actually though they were going with that one.🤣😭

Big fail....😂

Because of the historical fact of women strongly disapproving of the things men will have in the house that clashes with both décor and female sensitivities.

If you have never had a lady pretty much banish your stuff from sight (or suggest you donate or sell it) then congratulations, but I can pretty much guarantee there are many many households out there where something like that would set a pot with a limited timer simmering/boiling.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

My wife does that with all of my worn out clothes I hold onto instead of all my pc gaming/simming junk.

My junk sitting in her living room outside of my cave?

Yea it would be out on the curb the following Monday for the trash men to collect.😭

This is probably the most "domestically survivable" setup I have seen.....

Wow, I'm actually impressed by that! You'd genuinely never guess what was inside.👍

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

hangon guys, you're starting to clump different quotes together from different people and adding things I never said - it reads like i was totally bagging it.

I agree that you most likely have enough to deal with as it is, than trying to build something, from hearing about your nesting females etc, 🙂 Although I can't empathise, I certainly do sympathise

....  I'm starting to realise, with my nesting female, I'm a very very fortunate fellow in that sense (looking up at sky with hands clasped and thinking thank you, thank you)

I'm about 75kg
