Oh, it's fast alright, no doubt about that. I just sorta like things resembling real life. Now don't get me wrong, I love that people can grab what fits their fancy and fly it. I especially respect those who invest time in a project. If you did, however, not find this model aggregable, then there is nothing wrong with that. Each of us have our own opinion. You'll have to go back to Xplane or P3D for that. It seems like you've got a setup issue (maybe flight model on legacy?) or something... I'm able to land in a crosswind, a lot of MSFS aircraft can't do that. I also think you're totally out of line. It takes hours just to make a nice livery - and this guy has made an entire package with his time and at zero cost to you. An important thing to note: This is based off Mike Patey's extremely modified Lancair Legacy....which also does 7000+ fpm climb rate and 400ish KTAS. There's no other plane like it. It's not going to have Piper Warrior flight modeling for cryin out loud. Forget everything I said last night - I was plastered. I've flown it again today and actually, it's really good - it's a savage creature and flies really well but it is a house brick with aspirations of being an aircraft. It's like the guy who posted that he could confirm Mach Tuck a couple of months ago in the Cessna C172 once he'd busted the sound barrier. Loving it! Love the fact that you can essentially do what you will with the aircraft.cfg. Just don't ask me to fly it like an aeroplane because - for all the pretty liveries - that ain't what it is. It's a ridiculously pimped ride for the X-boxers. I'm pretty sure the Dev would be the first to admit that. Edited April 24, 20215 yr by Will Fly For Cheese
April 24, 20215 yr I agree with the 'Cheese' - one flight is enough. I had to set 'Rudder Authority' to -.5 to get it down the runway. Also agree that this is an XBOXer plane. You don't know what the X-box Users are going to be able to do. You know how they like their "Mods" - I expect they'll find a way of being inclusive to content outside of the Market Place. Goodness knows how - and who cares anyway. Edited April 24, 20215 yr by Will Fly For Cheese
April 24, 20215 yr I think it's just one of those planes that you have to try for yourself. Certainly not difficult to get your money refunded if you don't like it... I think it's a fun plane for when you're in the mood for it. Scooting from Big Bear Lake to Catalina Island in 18 minutes door-to-door was certainly fun for me. Thanks for turning us on to this bird. April 24, 20215 yr I think this is precisely what the dev had in mind...and it does have a definite basis in reality. Not much chance any of us could really fly the real thing.
April 24, 20215 yr I think it is more fun exploring scenery with the Vertigo than slewing or with the drone (how realistic is it to slew or sit in a drone?) And in the Vertigo it certainly looks like (to me that is) I am flying (although my girlfriend disagrees when she sees me sitting in a chair with stupid goggles on my face (my precious G2) 😉 Edited April 24, 20215 yr by Rene_Feijen MS FS 2020/2024 | 9800X3D | 64GB DDR5 6000mhz | ASUS ROG ASTRAL RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 OC EDITION | Varjo Aero | Navigraph | VATSIM | TPR Pedals | Virpil | Honeycomb | Winwing FCU + EFIS | Behringer X Touch Mini | SPAD.next

May 12, 20215 yr Rene: Thanks for solving my same issue. While I do not have a "green area" at the top of the PFD, I did discover clicking any of the three black boxes where the A/P info appears just above the artificial horizon opened the A/P page for me. Now, I can fly this rocket! Heel erg bedankt Edited May 12, 20215 yr by topcat_1952
