April 27, 20215 yr Anyone still experiencing this after the latest update? From my research this was an issue at WU3 territory and the guess was way-points having long names causing it.. ie: The pink GPS line is missing randomly. Sometimes it shows up for certain legs, others.. Nope. April 27, 20215 yr I tried to understand the "logic" (or lack of) of this phenomenon. It seems to depend on the way the flight plan is loaded. For example, if I use Simbrief or Aivlasoft EFB to make the flight plan, almost certainly my GPS loading will be affected somehow, for example looking at the FPL page, few or no information will be there, however my magenta line will appear with all waypoints. If I use the MSFS flight planner, it will show completely both the magenta and the FPL page with all waypoints. I also noticed that the GPS loading will be influenced if I save the FP into MSFS before I make my selection of plane and airport, or after I load the airplane at the airport. Whenever though I select a SID or an approach, there will be no magenta line before the first waypoint (end of SID), or the approach will not be shown either in the case of STAR and approach, the magenta line will stop at the last waypoint before the approach, BUT the plane will fly the approach flawlessly.

First thing I do after loading a flight, is press the FPL button on the GPS. If the FP is not there, I simply restart the flight. It is always there on the second start. I have seen this in the Mooney, and the Arrow 3 using the 530. Edited April 27, 20215 yr by Bobsk8

April 27, 20215 yr I just had this on the WT G3000....so maybe it's an Asobo thing rather than a WT thing. There was also no data on the PFD about waypoints (nor on the top of the MFD for distances/data etc). However, the CDI needle would deflect and the OBS is set to the DTK for the flight plan I entered. tbmnogpsline by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I don't like flying like that, I want to see all the waypoints before I take off, that is why I restart it. Seems like the restart gets it to load into the GPS, where the initial launch misses the entire FP fairly often. I think it is a problem in MSFS loading the flight and all it's components the first time. Edited April 27, 20215 yr by Bobsk8
April 27, 20215 yr It's weird because it used to load for me. In fact I did a flight in the Longitude yesterday (with the same G3000 mod) and the FPL showed on the MFD. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
