Anyway with SIMstarter sometimes when you assign AM to an app in Run Manager it also has an entry in the Extended settings in EXE.xml and that's where sometimes things get messed up. I'm glad you're not affected.

Good post.

When making batches or using other means to start an exe addon, make sure it's not also being started in the sim from exe.xml.

Exe apps started from the sim exe.xml run on cores allocated to the sim. Perhaps that software can run on cores outside the sim cores just the same as other exe's. A few more percent moved out of the sim cores to add to the rest.

Make sure to modify your paths to ASP3D.exe and Prepar3D.exe properly.

After you start a scenario go windowed mode open Task Manager go to Details tab, right-click on ASP3D.exe and select Set Affinity. Let me know what boxes are ticked.

Do same with Prepar3D.exe under Details tab as well and let me know what boxes will be ticked.

Without wishing to sound arrogant I predicted 3-0 England tonight. I felt Ukraine wouldn’t have the energy after the tough game against Sweden.  Italy are the best team left.

My prediction was 3-0 England at the very least

PS: we'll see about Italy vs England yet.. I agree italians' Affinity Mask on the pitch has been the most efficient so far.. Go England!!

Has this issue been resolved with the Hot Fix? In all the 38 pages I think I read that it was back to the levels of 5.1HF1.

I haven’t done any definitive tests but things seem fine.

Did my first long-ish flight with 5.2 HF1 and got a CTD mid- flight.

Disappointed, as I thought CTDs were a thing of the past (well they were with 5.1 and 5.2 vanilla.)
