June 30, 20214 yr Great! Was waiting for this. Almost went back to 5.1 because of all this scattering business. Will seek out the update soonest!
June 30, 20214 yr Unfortunately, they didn't fix the DXGI Error since the compatibility patch for 5.2... I am still not able to use Envshade with my RX 6900XT. There is also no support from them in their forum. 😞
June 30, 20214 yr So change log says: Changelog: - P3Dv5.2+ Fixed atmosphere scattering - P3Dv5.2+ Night main roads colour enhanced Can someone test this and see what the roads look like at night now? I have not even installed Envshade in 5.2 due to how horrible it make the night lights look. Eric
June 30, 20214 yr Note that the 1.1.6.6 version of EnvShade does not appear to work with the new 5.2 hotfix. Hopefully an update will appear soon.
July 1, 20214 yr Even with the 1.1.6.6. installed, the terrain is still very very blue. More blue than with 5.1 it would seen to me. Is there a way to reduce the blue tint further (lower than 0.5 in the settings)?
July 1, 20214 yr Author EnvShade is not compatible with v5.2 HF1. Only with V5.2…. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

At this moment I use the default shaders from V5.2 HF1, as they have been improved to the point that I find them very realistic. Visual problems aside, the card is working like a charm without Envshade shaders in P3D performance wise and completely fine in every other game without any problems. It was also working WITH their shaders in 5.1.
