Releasing Xbox AND Sim Update V on the same day!?  What could possibly go wrong.... 🙂

Hopefully all good, MSFS Sim Update 5 on PC and Xbox has already been released to some sections of the community (ObsidianAnt has been playing on Xbox Series X) so I certainly don't think anything major will happen.

Yeah I don't understand this 'seasons' screenshot winner choice for 'tundra'.

Whilst I agree it's an underwhelming choice for winning shot, it looks to meet the brief. The landscape looks like an example of tundra. In fact, it needn't have any snow in it as tundra isn't necessarily snowbound all year long. But no, I think there are more aesthetically pleasing entrants there.

LOD Problems - Trees, water - Several Releases SU 6 - SU 7.

Does this mean trees fix does not arrive until the next two updates?

I think that's a mistake.

As far as I know it should still be coming in July. The early access version will be available in the Marketplace, so it's more likely that it will be added with a Thursday update.

Can any beta testers tell us how large the download is for SU5 or is that disallowed?

We got several builds that were different sizes ranging from about 7-28gb so we can't be sure for certain

So nowhere near the original 90gb download, what a relief with my questionable download speeds 🙂
