If you don't like it don't buy it. You are happy now that I can use it.

Asobo. You literally have one job to do and you can't even do that right.

Why would any developer invest their time, effort, and money into MSFS when with a flip of a coin all their hard work is tossed out the door.

This isn't the first, nor I imagine the last to be screwed over by this update..  Just Flights Arrow III was fubar'ed because of undocumented changes.

It would be interesting to find out what is now encrypted that they were using. As mentioned here by Kai (AIG), he's not sure what they have changed and the models they were using are still open.

I think Asobo/MS have a lot of explaining to do, in order to regain trust from the simming community and especially the Devs.

It's quite literally ridiculous at this point.  SU5 was Asobo jumping the shark. They screwed things up on multiple levels. From users experience, to communicating to developers, to not properly documenting changes, to basically releasing a pile of random trash as an update.

Heads need to roll for this.

Look at PMDG, they have already issued fixes for the DC6, that wasn't really their fault, and it still has bugs not Post SU5.

You're blaming Asobo for the dev looking at the files they shouldn't have been.

If they were encrypted than they were core files. Why were they touching Core files?

It's really a shame. Somewhere in the circus that is Asobo there is good intentions and even good ideas. But it's very clear by now there is no leadership, no actual plan despite the pretty graphics in their development updates, or their useless Q&A videos..

Everything they say is now hollow. No one has faith in anything they say..  They've lost the #1 thing any developer needs to survive.

Man you're overreacting. This is the nature of a montly updated product.

If FSX had gotten constant updates every month like this, similar same things would have happened.

Asobo isn't psychic, they can't know what every single developer needs or what will break.

the files they relied on this addon for were once not encrypted, and now are.

Yes, and they must be for a good reason. It's not Asobo's fault, it's third party devs touching core files.

They still haven't said what files were encrypted. Whatever they were, it doesn't seem to be affecting other Third Party traffic addons.
