How many liveries does one need, really. The first thing I do with any addon is remove all but one, maybe two liveries at the most. I treat it as I would a real aircraft in which case it would never be, oh I'll take the lurid pink one out today. I stick with the one I would have chosen at the dealers.

Having said that I am surprised by how few liveries have been made for this yet.

The lack of glass reflection on the gauges is the biggest immersion killer with this one for me. I know it's the same for every default aircraft but its made worse for me with the very flat and cartoonish multi function display in the bottom right. That is something a repaint can't fix unfortunately.

That depends on your objective.    The way FS20 works,  is it tries to match models and liveries.    The more you have,  the greater the chance of a match.    Here is a link to that exact info,

For me, if it's a cub or cubbish type of plane, it has to be the classic piper yellow with the black lightning stripe at the side. Just adore that paint scheme!

I really like the paint on Juan Brown's Husky.  It was owned by a guy how owned a chain of auto parts stores,  and the guy was close friends with Yeager.    Yeager would often fly that particular Husky solo,   or with it's owner.    Juan jumped at the chance to buy it.  Such a cool little plane IRL.

I'm very dissatisfied with the work of Asobo and their support, after more than 1 month of the model's release, bugs have been reported - in particular, the operation of the brakes has still not been fixed. 👿

The brake reversed pedals is easy to fix.

I just reassigned the brake axis in my rudder pedal profile for the Husky. Now they work perfectly as they should. Took 30 seconds to fix.

When the new fix is posted, they are probably waiting to add more feature or fixes, I will just assign back to "normal".

IMHO I have never seen a sim that has had as quick and good communication from its developer. I think MS/ASOBO are an amazing team. This sim is only a year old at this point and it is truly revolutionary.

There's an update to the Husky included in today's changes - no information or change log on the store or download pages though.

Communication from MS/Asobo at times has been utterly abominable. - the lies we were told and general refusal to admit the severity of the problems the marketplace is the most obvious but it's hardly the only one going back to the original Alpha & Beta.

Aviat Husky patch is installed and.... DOESN'T fix the reversed wheel brakes (or remove the NAV radio that plane isn't supposed to have)

So what on Earth DOES it fix ?

Ok, I checked in 1.19.8.0 - Im glad to your good opinion about Asobo team for modules but its totaly wrong for me. Your "fix" idea isnt for me - cant find solution to create different profile fo Husky only as automatic selection. Can you show us where is it?

Second - the brake serious issue isnt fixed after more than one month. This is one from basic bug, whitch was very easy to catch it. Every developer of addon model would probably solve it in a small hotfix a few days after of the release. Additionally mine ticket at Zendesk wasnt and isnt open till now even one month after! So how you can say - support of Asobo for "Husky is amazing" (btw. its a different part of Asobo team - for models only). Wow, any external developer would be blame for that by users and owners, but Asobo not, why? In real flying, you use the brakes to turn, not the rudder, you probably know this and you know how important this feature is, especially for STOL planes and bush flying.

Another thing - very serious mistake speed in Zlin Aviation Shock Ultra (Premium deluxe edition) isnt fixed yet, after more than year! Great.

I'm concerned about how many bugs we will get in Ju-52 and without reacting to fix them.... 😜  😜  😜

Makes  it a little easier to control for The XBox Gamers that this game is now being developed for, say Bye Bye to MSFS (if it ever existed) and embrace MSFG

Oh and it broke a few other things😜

Also the next issue with Husky - have opened door and window during flight, it will look like this 😜 so something new for pilots (dont turn the window in your plane, be hot all the time!):

Just go to settings for hardware controllers and create a new profile for the Husky. And then set right brake to left rudder pedal and left to right axis. This will only affect brakes not rudder that works correctly with pedals.

I have about 20 different profiles for all the different aircraft I fly. Once you get the hang of it this is very easy. Also make sure you have no conflicting settings for any peripherals. Most of the time I don't use any "default settings" as I have lots of different peripherals in my sim cockpit. Different rudder pedals and anti torque pedals for planes vs helis. Also several different joysticks and the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo controls.

So I am very used to setting up profiles for different aircraft.

I hope this helps.

It's that way in all the default aircraft.

If you want to fly with an open window,  I suggest the JPL 152. https://flightsim.to/file/2246/msfs-c152-community

It can go above 100 knots with the windows open.
