I have a new problem, now I have access only to few airports in North America such as KJFK, KLGA, KMIA, KFLL, CYYZ and some few others.- There are no problems at my South America region as Argentina, Brazil, Chile , Uruguay, etc.-  Tried for now with KIAD, KDCA, EGLL, EGKK, and France and Spain region airports,and MSFS freezes once the flight is set, whatever the aircraft I select, so it must be killed from the task manager.- I tried starting MSFS with a clean Community  file, and deleting my rolling cache , with same results.

I want some opinions before reinstalling MSFS, which perhaps is the solution, but I am reluctant to do it.

A bit of an obvious question I know, but do you have addon airports for these, in the Community folder?

Not really, only KLGA and it works.- Besides, I tried with a blank community folder and no way.

What do you refer to as "access"?  

IMHO, you will save a lot of time and confusion by just reinstalling MSFS now. If a clean community file didn't solve the problem, anything else is pure guess work,

 

Save time and reinstall.

To select an airport as departure for a flight and loads succesfully

Two things to try:

1.) Before loading flight turn on Developer Mode in General Options/Developer screen, then once the flight has loaded you can turn off dev mode.

AND/OR

2.) Before loading flight turn off ALL traffic in the General Options/Traffic screen (aircraft, road, airport, etc.) and turn off multiplayer in the General Options/ Data screen. Once the flight has loaded turn this stuff back on as you wish.

Let us know whether this works out for you.

Yes, this is just what I’ve experienced along with scenery issues even if it does load - as per my posting this morning.

I had a problem loading SEL but that is an add on airport from the Marketplace.

I’ve also thought about reinstalling but not sure I can be bothered. What a ****!

Turning off traffic didn’t seem to make difference so far. I’ll test some more airports.

That didnt fix the problem, so I reinstalled MSFS and now most airports are available for my flights, with the exception of a few in UK as Heathrow and Gatwick. 

A new problem I have is that when I finish a flight, and try to initiate a new one from a diferent airport, I get a CTD

Did you try turning on dev mode?

Another possibility is if you have the Global AI Ship Traffic mod try disabling it and see if that makes a difference.

So after some optimisation, a lot of airports are now working properly for me, and sim now loads normally with no CTDs. I did 3 basically successful flights yesterday (LIPBV-LSGS TBM WT G3000) AYGW - AYGU (Def Caravan with WT G1000) and PAYA-PANC (CJ4 WT 12.7) yesterday.  Applied the Win 10H1 update. Reduced GPU clock by -50Hz helped, new graphics non-studio driver.

My issue is still noticing a big drop in FPS 180degs to the direction my plane loads in, particularly at LOWI (Orbx or no makes no difference. Initially the scenery is sharp.

To the south of the airport where I am parked, I'm seeing 50-60fps,  to the north, only ~20fps. As I go north away from the airport (Showcase or flying) fps drops further I go and scenery no longer loads at all ands is completely blurred. Any action from there freezes the sim.

Could some one try this to see if this happens for them at LOWI, or anywhere else?

I believe this may be an intermittent bug in their new selective scenery/ autogen loading feature, where to improve performance scenery only loads in the direction you are looking. Obviously not affecting everyone everywhere but it seems to hang in certain circumstances. If I report this to Zendesk I'd like to know whether anyone else has tested and seen this.

Cannot access to LOWI, whatever  aircraft or community folder is used (blank or full)  The sim freezes when I select a flight from that airport, as also does with Heathrow and Gatwick

I noticed this only happens to me in EU area. Flights in AUS, NZX, USA, AK, CAN, PNG I never saw this issue. I saw this at EGKA, LOWI particularly... I can fly into LOWI surprisingly no problem, but if I spawn at LOWI this occurs.

As DACH is the next update in WU6 this may (fingers crossed several times) resolve it.. and is it may be related?
