Random stutters/pauses after takeoff, during cruise, etc.

Yes, I observed that, too. But I thought it wouldn't do any harm as long as it isn't called/proceed by bgl files or others. Does anyone know?

Kind regards, Michael

I don't think it's an issue. My Global Ships addon seems to work fine when using Addon Linker.

I also get the long pauses. I noticed that these pauses always happen in the vicinity of water so it's most probably caused by the Global Ships addon for me too. Hopefully sorted soon with V2.

I completed a 3hr flight this morning and experienced no stutters or long 0fps freezes, just some loss of frames coming into a badly optimised Palma - but still stayed north of 50fps for the most part.

I’ve not had stutters since I removed global shipping.

Removing the addon solved my stutter issue also.

I have no idea with what's involved with fixing the addon, but hopefully the creator is aware of the problem and can fix it, because it's such a great mod.

Someone already posted the reason for the problem and thats due to some of the models are using the old fsx models, so whenever you encounter a ship that's using an outdated model, it has to convert them on the fly, which causes those stutters and pauses. The author of that mod is currently working on making a native version for MSFS which should be released by the end of next week and hopefully that will take care of the problem.
