Wow, I never noticed the people in the waiting area. See screenshot. They are actually walking up and down, and the people look a hell of a lot better than the geriatric OMSI grandmas from P3D. Must say, I'm impressed.

Is this a freeware airport on the marketplace?

Wow. They must have updated it. Only their Bonaire Famingo airport had animated people up til now. Hopefully they'll add animated people to their other airports.

To me, I think it really makes a huge difference to have a bit of life modelled inside the terminals and surroundings. Developers are modelling some great interiors but the more realistic they get, the more empty they feel without modelled passengers walking around! Hopefully we'll see more.

As far as I can remember (getting old...) people were animated since day 1. 😉

Yeah I thought so as well..  but at my age, that's absolutely zero guarantee of anything 🙂

There definitely were not.

I'm a huge fan of such details and had this airport since it was released at the very beginning. There were definitely no animated people, at least back then.

Come on developers, start to innovate again and bring your airports to life!!!! Even FSX had that!

They remind me of that movie with Tom Hanks: the poor guys walk around the airport all day but never get on an aircraft :-))))))

While not freeware, EDDK (Cologne) has people moving up and down stairs. I love this kind of detail.
