September 1, 20214 yr I have known well a number of truckers over the years and it covers the gambit. Owner/operators are very much like pilots in regard to your post. Lessees fall not too far behind. Then not to a man, wish to state that clearly, those who have no vested interest in the equipment are not generally at the same flight level. Not unlike a number of GA pilots who simply rent. Again, not to a man. Just overall. Former military pilots in that category largely excluded from that observation. As a flightsim and aviation enthusiast I am glad to have developed this sense of following SOPs and developing customized best practices based on my own experience and learning from others.
