I wonder with having two Sim Updates in quick succession that Asobo are going to go down the route of much smaller and less ambitious sim updates in order to avoid as many introduced bugs as possible, thus making the updates much more manageable, I'd imagine that might be the way to go for Asobo, i.e. don't bite what you can't chew.

It might take longer to get where we all want to be, but it could be a lot less painful for us simmers.

Generally the WU's seem fine, as they don't break many things in the sim. Getting hold of good data might be the real problem with World Updates, and a possible reason for no planned World Updates in the near future.

In the next few month the sim needs a bit more stability IMO.

Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle. Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Moza AB6 FFB Joystick, Pimax Crystal Light VR, Tobii Eye tracker, Steelseries Arctis 7+ Wireless Headphones.

The sim looks better that it has in a long time while having the best performance it has ever had....So much for all the dumbing down for Xbox theories....

My thinking, just in short words..

To mutch in a reather short time does not sound good to me 🤔

We are at a good point at the moment with the Sim IMO, so to hope this don't get broken from a to fast released update..

cheers 😉

EDDS looks nice enough but some of the textures are pretty blurry, especially on the jetways. Also, I noticed that every jetway where there was a static aircraft had its hood extended as though attached to the fuselage, despite the jetway itself still being in the retracted position.😶

Flew into EDDS Stuttgart again today. The hoods on the static aircraft jetways were retracted this time, but I'm not sure how the passengers on my plane were supposed to disembark when the jetway came out to meet it. This is how it stopped!:

One idea is that the tug stopped it getting nearer but I thought it would simply pass through, seeing as crash detection (thankfully for now) doesn't work for such ground objects.

On the plus side, I noticed the small aircraft exhibit on the roof of the terminal, part of the Museum of Flight. You can just make out the rotors of the Mil-2 and the front of the two fixed wings planes (Antonov AN-2 and North American Texan/Harvard)

OS:     Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHz

SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

I know this is a world update: still wondering what is preventing MS/Asobo from fixing the ugly and unrealistic windshield rain/wiper effects even after many sim updates. It is strange that so much of importance was given to the visual quality in the sim but such an obvious bug was missed. I understand that the team is now aware of it but can't understand why no attempt was made to fix it so far.
