I fly exclusively in VR, does “not support VR “ mean it won’t work at all don’t use it, or something like it may work but with unsupported side effects? I’d really like to buy this it looks excellent, but as I mentioned I fly exclusively in VR so maybe I shouldn’t? Also, If it doesn’t work with VR is it likely to do so in the future? Either way many thanks for your work on bringing this product to the platform. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

September 28, 20214 yr Thanks Randall , I might risk the demo.. what the worse that can happen ! 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
September 28, 20214 yr I checked the demo and it doesn't work properly in VR (double image of outdoor scenery). You can use the free EC, but the FPS drop is too significant for me to use in VR.
September 28, 20214 yr Ah ok, thanks Bulva. I’ll sit on my hands then and wait for XP12 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
September 28, 20214 yr EC's performance impact can be minimized by using the performance preset included in: https://github.com/JT8D-17/Enhanced-Cloudscapes-Controller-for-X-Plane Read the readme. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
February 10, 20224 yr Honestly the best $15 I've ever spent for Xplane. My only regret is not buying it sooner - it does scarily look similar to MSFS 2020 at times and has pretty much made me put all airliner flying in MSFS 2020 on hold until we get some better payware aircraft! Definitely need something better than a GTX 1060, even with the performance preset. Impressive but too much a hit on my system.
