September 25, 20214 yr Author Couple of people posted on the FS forum that AI traffic doesn't work either. No explanation from Asobo. And guess what, on the Offical FS Forum they just locked the topic of no Traffic. Guess they don't want to hear about it.. Edited September 25, 20214 yr by Bobsk8

Is this a joke? Nope, it's not a joke. It's buggy and far from complete and polished, but the good news is that there is no evidence MS/A is done with development of their stated '10y project'. It's a massive and innovative work in progress and always has been. It was heartening to have one of our super seniors recently post some context about this, and the massive positive responses to it. 3 months post release I posted a poll (https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/590657-poll-would-you-have-preferred-to-wait-another-6-12-18-mon/?do=findComment&comment=4420122 to ask people if they would rather wait up to 18 months until MSFS was 'a more mature product' and the vast majority said no, they were enjoying it enough already to deal w/ its foibles. It was a very short time ago that most here were enamored with the phenomenal performance gains that came in SU5, then WU6 arrived w/ phenomenal improvements in the northern European areas involved, the addition of the pre-cache slider option that allowed people with more resources to use them much better than pre WU6. Right now, even w/ the missing AI we're seeing for the past couple of days, it's 99.8% as capable as it was 3 days ago. No CTD's for the vast majority of users I surmise. Incredible flight into Zurich yesterday, just astoundingly lovely. We've been told there is an 'impressive' update to the weather engine coming next year. PMDG has suggested they aren't far off from releasing their second plane for MSFS and the first one was very well received. What's really not changed is the 'The Sky is Falling!' reaction that happens when there is a hiccough, like the missing AI. If this is just too much to cope with perhaps best to bow out and tune in next year and go back to rock solid P3D/XP, though of the two times I have used P3D in the past few months, the first instance CTD upon approach into KSFO, so there you go in that 11 y/o product. But sure, it's mature and most everything works well even though for me and many others the thrill is gone in that venue. Most assuredly they were aware of this before anyone here noticed the change. September 25, 20214 yr On the navigation world map, when you zoom in and other other planes are active, I will see them in the area, landing and etc. The map is now empty, but I wouldn't immediately assume its an Asobo/Microsoft issue, as it's also possible that its FlightAware thats having a problem.
