Problems running MSFS today Oct.10

Featured Replies

Today when I started MSFS it seemed to be taking longer to load, especially the "checking for updates" part. I then got notifications that I was offline. I checked and verified that the system was online. The next warnings came with a red banner saying that I did not have enough bandwidth to show the photogrammetry scenery. I had just used it yesterday with no problems and nothing in my setup has changed from then. My bandwidth appears to be sufficient and has not changed. Anybody else notice similar issues?  Are there problems with the servers?

I had all kind of weird things happen today with an earlier flight. I shut everything down and waited several hours to restart the flight. When I restarted I found many of my Options reset to anything but what I wanted. I went through all of the options to make sure things were set to what I had been using and started the flight with no problems. Azure did go out on me while flying but it did come back online.

I lost AZure around 4 or 5 o'clock.

I completed two flights today without issues. One for 2.4 hours and the other for 2.9 hours. My flights were within a time window from 1500Z to 2100Z and flown in the central USA from central Texas to the Chicago area.

I've been finding just today that I can't set the time correctly - I switch on LIVE time and weather, and it corrects for a few seconds, then reverts to UTC 08:07 on Wed 17 NOVEMBER 2021 - more than a month away yet!!    No matter what I do, it always reverts to the same time and date.  HELP!!  (And yes, my system time and date are correct!)

I've repaired my app from the control panel, without solving the problem.  I am now going to try switching off the online data and see what that does for me.

SEE ABOVE - Well that seems to indicate there is a problem with the Microsoft servers.  As soon as I turn data off, I can manage the times and dates, and have them retained in the sim.  As soon as I turn the data on again, the sim quickly returns to 08:07am 17 November 2021.

I've had this before.  Log out and Log back into your Xbox App.  Somehow there can be syncing issues from time to time.  This info was given to me through a zendesk ticket I put in recently with the same issue as yours.
