I can certainly understand frustration, especially with the Asobo bugs that are in the manual but the issues he is responding to with MSFS loading times are not in the manual, some users are having genuine problems and I can NEVER understand a comment about a customer having an issue being nothing more than a few euro profit so not worth the time...

It's not what you say it's how you say it but Mathijs has always been very blunt and English is not his first language so I try to cut some clack but responses like this personally rub me the wrong way.

I would never in a million years say that to one of my paying customers but that is just my opinion.

Well, Aerosoft are the epitomy of a capitalist profit-oriented enterprise, they say things like that all the time and you can clearly see from the updates to the CRJ that they limit their budget and support in order to make the maximum profit from it (a la "as little as necessary to still be able to sell the product"). That's a rather unromantic idea of customer support, but at least they are honest about it. What you see is what you get from Aerosoft, not more, not less, and I guess that's okay; there are and were a lot more developers that promised you heaven on earth in "future updates" and then left with your money to be never seen again. Between this and Aerosoft, I'd take a solid CRJ without illusions any day. For study level there is always PMDG and A2A etc.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Microsoft and Asobo are not interested in profit on the other hand. There next Flight Sim will be totally free.

No, I think you are wrong about that.

Really?  🙄

I've held off on this product for some simple reasons, one being the many reports of people unable to enter the sim, after installation, and two because of the Aerosoft installer.

I absolutely hate all the various installer/update apps the developers seem to think will make my life complete, and I avoid them whenever possible.

I'll reconsider if/when an updated product hits the marketplace, and/or when the necessity of the installer is removed.

I won't go that strong but I agree cluttering up Windows w/ a slew of installers is so FSX/P3D.  I fell for this one but yes, I too almost waited for the Marketplace arrival.

There are few things I dislike more about redeploying FS products than the dreaded please-enter-your (long ago lost/forgotten or Inconvenient to dig-up) serial number/password; and to possibly have to do that for multiple installers.....

Flight One used to ask for last four digits of the credit card you purchased with among other things I couldn’t remember.
