Logic would seem to indicate that if they were as on top of the issue as you seem to believe, it would never have gotten broken in the first place......

One might also point out that if they were (as a company) masters of absolutely all aspects of simulation, there would be vastly little incentive for them to hire other companies like working title, or pursue partners.

In the real world, though, few people, or even companies, are good/perfect at absolutely everything.

Nope, never said they were on top of the issue that is your twist.  I said it's not on their priorties list is all.

Regarding a thread about Simple Traffic then there is no choice, it's a discussion about Simple Traffic.

Those being disparaging and casting aspersions about other peoples choices really do need to get a grip. Too much of that cr*p in the world atm.

Been following this and the other AI threads because I just want a bit of traffic that looks good enough at 300 yds. Do I pay for something that Asobo should have already provided? Something I thought I had already paid for?

Ultimately it's my choice and I probably will fork out for Simple Traffic, to be quite frank the judgements voiced here have put me off the other one.

The flightplans are there, you can even install them now they just won't do anything yet. Just waiting for the models.

Can't the flightplans point to the MSFS GA planes in the meantime or is that not possible?

I'm not sure I understand. When you have two products essentially addressing the exact same issue, I would think it would be almost inevitable that people would vigorously compare and debate the pluses and minuses of the available solutions...

In fact, when the morning began, my preferred solution was the EZ Airlines mod on flight Sim.to, which in no way stopped me from testing AIG, nor will it stop me from testing simple traffic.

So MSFS online  won't leave the gate but will land planes and MSFS offline will leave the gate and takeoff, but will not land planes. Can't win for losing.

Some will land. It really depends when in their flight plan they spawned.
