Is opus better than sim shakers? I’ve never heard of opus before, only used sim shakers.

I ám not 100% confirm with Opus, it has some issues for me, but I choose it.

I have problems with my profiles, they told me to read the f.. manual, but I found no error. 😞

Next whats weird: in turbolence the plane is moving, the effect come a way later-a little async. 😞

I think I go to sim shakers at christmas.🎅

Ok-anyway-thats the tread for fsrealistics:

Short flight-the sounds a great, remember to Accu-feel from A2A.

The shaking is not my thing-but this comes maybe from the homecockpitview, there you dont wonna any move.

And the buttkicker-there is no way at the moment to speak to my second soundcard only-maybe its my fault-i will look at there forum and ask.

So far-the half of the price its worth-not more-at the moment. 😐

This gets a thumbs up from me

1. Sounds are quite subtle

2. I Like the vibration that occurs when speed brakes are extended

3. Any "shaking" is also not exaggerated.

The ground roll effect seems "looped in" rather than being the result of the aircraft actually moving over the runways and taxiways.

A solid effort for version 1.0. I'm sure it will be improved upon.

Just some quick impressions.

Will buy this when the trial period runs out.

That's a pity.  It is the main thing I wanted.  I loved EZDok for this feature in FSX / P3D.

I concur.

Likewise, I use sim shakers aviator at the moment .

Same, been using Simshaker since I’ve had the buttkicker (only about 3 weeks now) and I’m not overly convinced with the software or buttkicker for that matter, may just be me though who needs to dial in the proper intensities etc.

Ive found a higher intensity with a lower setting in Simshaker works best for me, but still experimenting..

Anywho, would like to know how this works with buttkicker (I guess I can download the free trial and test it out)

I tried it and I must say, if you know XP Realistic from XP, you won't be disappointed. I thought the workaround for the airframe shake will be a breaker but actually, it is not bad at all! Given the limitation within the SDK and a V1.0. Must buy for sure!

How is this in terms of realism for airliners?  I can't tell if it would make it more realistic or less.

Install free program voicemeter - you dont need a second sound card

I found OPUS to be pretty good - overly complicated though
