November 13, 20214 yr Tried it out (again) with the Longitude. FSRealistic updated to the latest version 1.03. --> I'm still getting this annoying looped sound as the aircraft rolls over the tarmac.

Check that you did not PREVIEW that sound, the Taxi...and that it is looping. I did that already once...on the sound of the water splash for pontoons. I lifted off...and still heard the splashing sound. I then brought up the Profile and sure enough, I still had the water/pontoon splashing sound still on PREVIEW. As soon as I pressed DONE, it stopped. I then purposely flew down to a landing on the water and as soon as the pontoons touched the lake...my chosen splashing sound came up. It might just be that...check that all your sounds (any of them) are not in the PREVIEW mode...where they will continually loop so you can decide on which one activates for that particular envelope.
November 13, 20214 yr Hello, I am testing FS realistic. I have 2 questions. 1/ The FSR panel disapears when i start my flight. I know it is runing but impossible to display FSR screen. 2/ Sound seems not been compatible with "Headphone simulation" sound mode in ms ? Thanks for your answers. Franck You can bring up the FSR panel at any time, by pressing ALT-TAB. When you are done interacting with it, reduce with the bar at the top right. do NOT use the X...that will end the program.
November 13, 20214 yr Giving the Trial a go, a bit dubious about paying £18 for a few extra sounds and vibrations (that should be better in the core Sim by default IMO)....but then I did spend £20 on a bunch of trees (!) so will see how this goes 😄 Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I fly mostly the DC6 and the Seminole, so wondering how it will work with those two aircraft.
November 13, 20214 yr I did one short test flight with the DC6, flying the pattern at KFLL. Most of the effects seemed to be sound related, but the landing sounded like a hand grenade went off in the cockpit, and I usually touchdown at around 70-120 FPM. Have to try flying it some more, and see if I can tweak that a bit. 😉 I see there are tons of adjustments and sound selections. Pretty cool program. Edited November 13, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
