I hope the fix comes soon as i just cannot fly it with the gear down all the time. It just makes it unrealistic for me.

Try putting it in Easy mode rather than Normal.

One would think that fixing a gear not working properly would be a really simple fix, for a payware aircraft.

I never had an issue with the gear. Are you sure your hydraulics are ok ?  They are working on a big list of fixes.  I am testing it right now. It's not because you haven't heard from them that they are not busy. They are only a team of 3 and they are working almost 18 hours a day.

Sorry I didn't get the chance to make a video yet. The dev keeps sending me new build. The sounds has been improved for anyone who didn't like the super connie before , I think you will like this a lot better. I got the new version this morning. If anything goes well. I think this build will be release just before xmas.

@Bobsk8 So I was able to reproduce your issue with the gear. It seems to be related to Asobo SDK and how it detects whether you spawn on the runway or not. Sometimes, Asobo doesn't detect this properly and it doesn't load the script. I strongly suggest you do not spawn on the runway. Just spawn at the gate. The new beta has an AFE with all of the checklist for all the flight phases. So it would be easy as pie to fly. It is not as automated the DC-6 but It's make it very manageable.  I think redwing team is just trying to crush one last little bug and let us test one last time before it get release. It shouldn't be too long

TY I think I've done enough beta testing already for this sim and have spent countless hours trouble shooting every aspect of it.

I don't spawn on the runway, yet it still wont retract the gear. I hope they get a fix out before everything shuts down.No update on Simmarket my side at all.

It's not out yet. There was a bug with hydraulics not being set properly which would prevent your landing gear for going up. it's has been fix in the build I am using.

I don''t own this aircraft. I was just commenting on the fact that a landing gear problem shouldn't be that difficult for the developer to fix.

it is not but sometimes Asobo is being Asobo. I had a bit more understanding how sometimes developer are frustrated on how things work with the SDK. I remember testing the AFE checklist and it would work only 70% of the time for no reason.  It's hard to to troubleshoot when error are not consistent and reproduceable.   So I guess I have a new found respect for those who are trying to build complex aircraft in MSFS and struggle with the inconsistencies of the framework. Either way. The gear is fix now. It will be bundle with the other fixes, It's going to be a decent size patch in terms of fixes and new features.

Strange about the landing gear, I have owned the Connie since it was first released, I have never had a problem with the landing gear.
