November 19, 20214 yr On my last few flights the engines stop before I can get ready to take off. Don't know if this is a problem with the L-1049 or is something to do with the latest MSFS update. However, no problem with the DC-6 after the update. Hehe....that's why I added the caveat that I don't overly criticize paints presented on a plane who's model and/or texture maps have not been finalized. Working with several beta teams in the past, I've learned not to go whole hog into painting until those details are "really" finalized....I've had to repaint more than one bird in my career because of that. They will routinely change the map layout in order to optimize space during the beta, and oh my, can that throw a wrench into a paint! 🙂 I'm sure we could both tell some stories Paul...but this is not the thread for that, hehe. I know that the flag issue though is not because of a map/model change though, just needs to be touched up and re-released....he could re-do just that map if the paint package is pretty large. But then you have to tell the customers where to drop/overwrite the file...an issue in itself. Ralf Givin the circumstances we're doing fine here, Ralf, thanks! 🙂 Yes, a wonderful time we had working on the C-47, didn't we. Really a pity it is too much of a workload for us to continue and move forward into the magical realm of MSFS. But as long as there's life there's hope. You keep playing that banjo, you hear ! (and keep flying the DC-6, doesn't come any better, doesn't it. We can call ourselves lucky ! 😎) I'll give fogboundturtle's suggestion a go and if it gets me anywhere i'll let you know. Tchüss!
