November 16, 20214 yr I have had this aircraft for two days now, and have spent a good deal of time in the cockpit, studying the panels and controls and reviewing procedures. Hope to make my first flight tomorrow. At this point though I can say that the general appearance and texture is very good, and I regret that a few days ago, after reading comments that the textures were poor, and looking at the graphics posted, I went along with these comments saying the textures were poor. Now that I have the aircraft and can see for myself, I realise that I was wrong. From an appearance perspective I believe it is among the best on the market. So I hope that others are not discouraged by negative comments on the textures, as I was a few days ago. I also see that many of the switches and controls in the cockpit are functional, so I expect we will see an aircraft of serious systems depth when finished. I hope to make my first flight later this evening or tomorrow. Any one able to advise? I had to bind mixture axis and propeller axis in order to get a better control. RPM and mixture have to be adjusted right after take off in order to operate properly. I used power setting straight from manual and it worked for me. The only thing I can figure our is oil temperature. No matter what I do with oil coolers, oil temperature is always below green arc Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). Any one able to advise? You don't need full power to take off. If you use full power pull back on the throttles right after your airborn. Use the prop lever to adjust your rpm per checklist and throttle to adjust MP per checklist. Paul Grubich 2017 - Professional texture artist painting virtual aircraft I love.
