How to Remove Persistent Curser/Dot?

Featured Replies

While I have a complete setup with rudders and yoke etc, I nevertheless also have an Xbox controller which I use specifically for external views. This works fine, but for some reason, that I don't remember seeing before, when I move the camera around and then switch back into cockpit view, I am left with a large white spot in the centre of view. It remains there for several seconds before disappearing. It's rather annoying and wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of it? Thanks guys.

I have used an X Box controller for about 6 months, adjust camera with it all the time, and have never seen this white dot?????

Its an issue especially those PC users that have an xbox controller as their main control, it's really annoying.

There is an option in the assistance menu that controls this I believe. Try toggling that and saving to see if it makes any difference. I don't recall the exact option or navigation off the top of my head but think it was called legacy or similar.

Also, if it is not persistent, it may be a drifting issue with the stick on the joypad which can be alleviated with a small dead zone for the controller.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have tried all the suggestions, without success. It seems there are quite a few posts elsewhere regarding this issue which I have missed. It appears not a lot can be done about this, unless someone knows different.

No it's a persistent issue that needs to be addressed by the folks at Asobo.

That dot is the bane of my existence in the cockpit.

Yes this issue appeared after the initial XBOX release of MSFS. They added in for those console players. Now it's creeped into the PC version as well. Ever since then it's been there and I would also like that Asobo removes this from the PC version. It's really word not allowed annoying. Like mentioned above, it appears to show up for those who primarily fly using an xbox controller. But since I use my controller to pan around at times, it get's really annoying to see that white dot show up right in the middle of my screen.

Well, I've just reported, probably like many others' have done, the issue on Zendesk, so let's hope if they receive enough complaints that something will be done. I mean, let's face it, it can't be difficult.
