Ancient dinosaur bone TrackIR kits are 20 years ago...🤣

Enjoy head tracking inside of the candy store through a pancake screen box. Careful not to turn your head too far and go out of bounds😂

Sincerely,

A VR Evangelist

I can't afford a VR head set.

Bye.

We hope that going forward  your posts go to the FSX Section in the forum, and not here.

TrackIR is no longer working in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

You can either go back 20 years to using your hat switch, or stop flying Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

And Asobo knew about this in beta testing and still forced SU7 on its Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 customers!

I (and most of the TrackIR users I know on the Flight Simulator Forum) have chosen to stop flying it.  For us, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is dead. 💀

Track-IR works. Just need to do an assignment in controls.

Sometimes who does not work is one self.😧

To become great, good things require a bit of patience and communication...

Only dead if you cannot follow simple instructions.

I'm not going to turn TrackIR back on 20,000 times per flight.  It used to work continuously during a flight.

Sorry to hear that. What will you do instead?

Flying IL-2 Great Battles right now.  It is very stable, and TrackIR works with it flawlessly.

The OP was overly dramatic but it is true that it is great to have a sim to play straightaway with, without twisting the little gray cells to have it work. Patience is one thing but I guess a lot of us suffer from update fatigue after 15 months of erratic SU.

Sometimes you wonder if there's actual adults behind some of these posts. Reads like some 6th grade infantile "I want my toy mommy" kneejerk reactions.

I'll be back if and when Asobo fixes TrackIR.

In the mean time, enjoy your hat switch 😉

It is fun on this forum 😁

But fair play to @Bucksnort , if my VR setup was stuffed up I would be miffed.

Just had a VR flight (the only way to fly!) in New Zealand, live weather in the rather fabulous Milviz Porter.

The colours the magnificent turbulent visual fest.

For an ageing flight simmer GOTY, no , Game of the Century.
