November 22, 20214 yr I was just browsing on Simmarket and noticed some of these products are on sale right now. Has anyone any experience with these products and what does it bring to the party, I can see screenshots perfectly but was wondering if traffic flows on them for example. I guess it might be to particular VFR flights but just wanted to know if anyone thinks these benefit the sim. November 22, 20214 yr Cell towers and antennas, clearing trees, roads, birds, etc. I'm not that brave to try any of those. Prices look to be cheap until you actually determine what each of these apps do. I fell for the airport textures word not allowed but I'm avoiding these. The holidays are upon us. Save your money for when the good products go on sale. I'm hoping someone replaces the sand in the Sahara and Gobi deserts. Or what's the name of that place where all the plastic garbage collects? Somewhere out in the Pacific Ocean. Day one buy for me. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
November 22, 20214 yr I purchased this product for the west USA. Initially I was pleased with the look, but for me it introduces stutters. November 22, 20214 yr There’s a better freeware addon for cell towers and antennas that also add more things https://flightsim.to/file/16674/we-love-vfr-region-2 https://flightsim.to/file/2605/we-love-vfr-region-1

Puffin has been doing a fantastic job and has just added smoke to region 2 and is currently testing it in region 1. Best of all, they are free, so make a donation of buy him a coffee if you are able. Whilst on the subject, there were lists of 'must have' files for previous sims, but not one I've seen for msfs. These 2 addons would be at the top of my list along with Henrik's ships and a number of popular object libraries. Not 100% on that but what I can tell you is that the newest update (I wasn't happy with the original release) really improved the roads...they look like that everywhere. If you want a sample location, just let me know and I'll be happy to post a photo for comparison. My primary point is I think you will be pleasantly pleased with what he did to the roads.

Just checked Citizens Bank Park in Bing Maps and the streets look exactly the same as in your screenshot, so it must be photogrammetry. But good to hear that the roads are now considerably improved.
