December 14, 20214 yr I’d just like to say thanks to everyone who offered their advice in this thread. After a full windows reset I followed the advice and updated my motherboard BIOS and turned off the HAGS, which seems to be causing problems with VR from what I read. So far yesterday X-plane was running stable without crashing . The real acid test was I left orbx downloading several true earth sceneries overnight. Previously I’d wake up to find the PC had crashed and rebooted itself , but this morning I find that all my scenery has been installed. I’ll start work on slowly setting up P3D today and hopefully that remains stable, I think I’ll hold off on MSFS for the time being until everyone else’s reports of crashes falls off a bit otherwise It’s too much of a moving target.
