December 12, 20214 yr I've build a complete new PC (see signature) - no overclocking, installed Windows 11 Pro and the necessary drivers/utilities. Then I installed MSFS Premium DL (GOTY Edition) and downloaded the World Updates. No add-ons in the community folder. All was set by MSFS (ULTRA). Unfortunately I was not able to start any flight so far, neither in Default nor in MSFS Safe Mode. After starting MSFS I reach the Welcome screen, choose a default airport with default a/c and start the flight. The flight starts loading and just before finishing: CTD. I've tried several locations/aircraft, it's always the same, sim crashes just before having loaded the flight. This time, I have really now idea where I shout start troubleshooting. I'd appreciate any suggestions. December 12, 20214 yr 99% driver 497.09 is the culprit. Run DDU in Windows safe mode, uninstall it and use this: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/183939/en-us If you still have CTD, post what the Event viewer logs in the error description, but I am pretty sure you will resolve your issues by getting rid of the latest driver. December 12, 20214 yr Out of curiosity, with what kind of PSU do you run your new hardware with? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

December 12, 20214 yr I cant help but by way of consolation I'm in the same position. I have just spent thousands on a new PC with the same specs as yourself, I9-12900K, RTX3090 and I can't get ANYTHING to work properly. MSFS crashes after a couple of minutes. XP11 keeps crashing and has spontaneously lost my Orbx TE UK scenery. P3D runs smooth in 2d but is full of stutters and crashes in VR Orbx direct can't be left to download scenery overnight as it just causes the PC to reboot. I just feeling like giving up. My previous 4 year old 1080Ti machine was running everything fine. I should have just bought another motorbike instead. 787 captain. I shipped it back to the company, and they repaired it, new GPU and new PSU. Hasn't crashed since.

Great config by the way! Thank you so much! Everything works again. I'm now with the 496.49 WHQL driver. Yeah, great PC config I have now. Except the video card, every piece of hardware is brand new. Took me nearly two days to set it up in my new Lian Li case. December 12, 20214 yr You guys are scaring the hell out of me! In the process of getting parts for a new build now. Landed a 3070 last week that doesn’t fit in the case of my i7-6700 so I might as well build a new system. Looking at the i7-12700 to go with the 3070. Did you guys go with ddr 4 or 5? Leaning towards ddr4. Besides the 3070, I ordered the Corsair 850 HX PSU yesterday.

It’ll just be incompatible software and drivers somewhere but it’s just one big headache at the moment 787 captain. A very nice setup by the way. I am happy with my 3080Ti, but the rest I want the same as you. I will probably have to go for a DDR4 motherboard to start with to keep my RAM and reduce the cost a bit. When I sent my PC back to the people that made it, CLX, they were very helpful and I told them the only issue I had was MSFS 2020 crashing every 15 minutes to 1 hour. They made sure they ran it ,and ran MSFS on it, until it was fixed.
