Hmm, I saw a blue artefact on the runway around my aircraft earlier. I cleared the rolling cache and it seemed to fix the problem on my last flight. Also been having plenty of CTDs the last few days.

Here goes with the new driver...

Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.

Just completed a short flight in the Baron. No CTD but some strange stutters when approaching the airport even though the dev mode FPS indicator showed a steady 30 FPS locked.

A really odd visual artefact: When panning left in the Baron cockpit it looks like the small inset window at the left of the pilot is trying to jump out of the main window.

I'm going to DDU and install this new driver and hope for better. The crashes/forced reboots have been sporadic but often enough to be aggravating.

I also noticed this... I have never seen it before, I am 80% sure it's due to the driver.

Could anybody with the previous driver check if the sun visors of the SR22 look so bad in terms of aliasing and resolution of the filtered objects?

You just have to spawn at Madeira, RWY 23.

Thank you

Thanks for confirming. I don't fly the Baron that often but I'm sure I would have noticed this before since I'm often panning around with the joystick hat switch when flying.

I should mention that I'm using the public beta with the latest small patch that came out recently.

Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.

Now that Nvidia associated CTDs and etc. are fixed, Microsoft can go ahead and release the Beta (I wish).

I didn't see that artifact with the Baron. Are you sure it wasn't just a reflection.

As for the sun visors, I just DDUed and reinstalled driver 496.76: they look the same. Reverted to the latest one 😛

No reflection, I saw this coming up as I was turning to final and panning left to look for the runway. It was as if the little inset window was being left behind in the rendering and then quickly snapping back into the window and then being popped out slightly again from the left window as I continued panning.

Been playing some Forza Horizon 5 in the meantime to see if there are any graphical quirks there but FH5 is fine.

Anyone notice a performance difference with the new driver?

It seemed about the same until I was a few miles from a fairly low detail airport and the sim started stuttering.
