January 20, 20224 yr Author I have my desk height set to 26in. Seeing it's an Ikea Jerker Desk I can adjust up and down. 26 is perfect for my chair as I can tilt back and not hit the yoke. I’m finding that I am just too far from the mouse and it’s difficult. I’m going to have to continue looking to how to make my set up more ergonomic. My fear is that my shoulder hurts when trying to reach the mouse. As it already has begun to. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight
January 21, 20224 yr Author After two days I’m really enjoying the Yoke Pack. The Pendular system takes a little getting use too and provides a different flying experience. Before I was using an old Ace 737 yoke. Setting it up in P3D was pretty simple. I had to use FSUIPC for the landing gear lever and reverse thrust. So far I was not able to find any info on the forces required to get the handle to the extremes of pitch and roll. Any chance to measure that? As an example- on my Fulcrum yoke I have 6 KG in max pitch and 4 KG in roll.

I am experiencing a deploying gear mid-flight and I am unsure if it has to do with the one button. My current command is to Press G on gear up. Then press G on release of that button. But today I found I almost ran out of fuel because the gear deployed itself during cruise. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight

First hurdle I have is that since the joke sits lower on the desk it is literally bumping into my junk. So tomorrow I will have to find a new desk. I am also concerned that my keyboard won't stay on top of it like it used to on the steady box of the Logitech / Saitek yoke. So many compromises will have to be made to make this work. Thats with out adding that I am not further from my mouse and the throttles I almost have to lean forward to reach. I haven't flown it yet but initially I am going to say I am wondering if I made the right decision. Alcides, Did you ever make peace w/ ergonomics? I have the same concerns--especially can I use the tablet prop on top of the yoke to SECURE my PC keyboard on this is a must for me having come from Saitek (see photo below). Now I happen to have a concave curved desk so right away the mount will be a little farther away than if you're on a typical straight edge desk front. Can you tell me how many cm/inches it is from the front of a desk edge to the farthest point away from the desk, I guess where the two short axis levers are? I'm trying to see if I can deal w/ the longer reach issue. What desk height can you recommend as well? I have almost ordered this yoke because it has a lot of pluses for me but ergonomics do matter. Thanks! Now that I look at this photo reach is not going to be a problem because I have file cabinates on each side of the corner desk. Is the yoke body where the tablet prop is much taller than a Saitek? September 8, 20223 yr Well, nevermind I found a deal I couldn't resist so just ordered TCA Boeing. I really like what I see w/ the button array, hall effect magnetic sensors and good pitch range to offer 16-bit resolution. For the rare time I'm flying in something other than jet airliners I think I can adjust using this type of pedulum yoke as I defintely don't have room for two yokes. You can get the TCA Boeing yoke alone current at Dell.com for $299. I'm scheming on a better TQ so went for the yoke only. I have to think my desk is probably ideal for this yoke and my main concern is how to secure the keyboard in a location I can live with, hopefully in the tablet holder which I will bend down a few degrees to get the key board less upright--I'll let you know how it worked out. I ordered a USB Logitech Throttle as for now it's good enough and makes securing my PC keyboard easy to do. I bent back the tablet backstop and it's perfect for holding the keyboard plus the keyboard is easy to pick up as desired. My concave-curved corner desk is a good fit for this yoke though I think I will put a piece of 1" wood to elevate it (my desk is an inch thick so there is room) though it's not critical. I am amazed at the feel of pitch and roll and look forward to much better control over my old Saitek Yoke! The buttons are of good quality save the gear lever which as has been reviewed is ackwardly out of place and crude--but effective and is a net positive and isn't really flimsy it's just crudely inset into the base. When the new throttle arrives I will take a photo. It's very simple and I'm happy to keep it that way, without going into more hardware button units--the keyboard is good enough for me. September 13, 20223 yr Man I love this thing! My PC keyboard is as accessible as it was w/ the Saitek I just had to put in a new bumper strip closer to the yoke arm but it sits nicely against the bent back table backstop. My first landing in the B738 was super sweet in fact was the very first time I got a 100% score in APLv2 in the 738 for the entire flight monitoring including landing. The only thing lacking on it is absence of any kind of backlighting--it would have been nice for the Boeing text to be backlit to let you know it's powered up or what have you. 100% recommended for those who fly airliners. Next time up will try it in the lil CRJ 700. January 5, 20233 yr I'm wondering how this yoke would be for flying biz jets like the CJ4 and Longitude. Honestly, though, I'm thinking about the Fulcrum too. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
