The change log seemed to suggest it mostly happened when multiple metar stations were close together. This evening I will see if that affects my style of flying which is mostly VFR over remote areas and long distances. Currently circumnavigating the world in a mix of Cessna and Piper aircraft. January 7, 20224 yr Agree. The flights I took yesterday were wonderful. They fixed the reverse thrust controls and so the Kodiak is now, in my mind, perfect. January 7, 20224 yr I hope that before SU8 comes out they solve the radius at which weather stops to be injected. In my case, no live weather anymore after 300 miles. Surprisingly enough today all ended at 300 miles, winds, clouds, baro, but the reported haze was just there at my destination. Not the usual haze, but one that was part of the forecast. January 7, 20224 yr Happy here, too, so far 🙂 I only use VR and at last, the Task Bar issue is resolved. No more 'lift the VR headset to try to find Cntrl-0 while the ATC gets increasingly annoyed that you are not acknowledging". Makes SUCH a difference. January 7, 20224 yr Really pleased with it too. I notice less graphical glitches and objects blinking
January 10, 20224 yr I won't be shy, update is pretty good unlike some past version BUT - the weather is still really messed up (this has been longer than before SU7 though). I don't mean the weather accuracy (that is very subjective) - but the clouds are broken and ugly as heck. They switched from beautiful clouds pre- SU3 timeframe to these ugly cumulus and towering cumulus ASH. There is only one or two cloud types now. For storms they just build up cumulus PUFFS to make a front, it is very ugly unconvincing and immersion breaking. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/metar-keeps-disrupting-the-weather-bugged-weather-cumulus-cb-clouds-only-no-medium-to-high-cloud-coverage/487587/24 Edited January 10, 20224 yr by KERNEL32
