Don't understand why some are having so many problems with it.

Probably because some go beyond the 350 miles range.......?

I did a 2.5 hour flight of over 1000 nm and had no streaming scenery dropouts or loss of live weather.

I have had many flights of over 350 miles recently and experienced nothing like what I see in his screen shots.  Just yesterday 560 miles as the crow flies from Easton, Maryland, to Bloomington, Indiana.  Other recent flights from Denver to Kansas City; Kansas City to Bloomington, IN; Bloomington to St Paul, Minnesota; Bloomington to State College, Pa (and back); just numerous such flights and most of those mentioned exceeded 500 nm.

That's bizarre what you're seeing in 2000h of flying have never seen anything like that.

And it spoils the immersion..... I have read reports from others seeing the same, but that doesn't fix it.....

It must be a very few as this is also the first time I've seen any reference to this issue. Hopefully you will find the source of the issue.

I simply don't understand this assertion that Asobo "broke" overcast.  I was challenged to try and find overcast without fog or precip on the official forum, and it took me a single try.

I've seen posts indicating that the weather isn't always rendered correctly (guess I've been lucky), but clearly the sim is still perfectly capable of rendering overcast.

I have seen that too - but ONLY just as the sim loads up. Wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute and the overcast starts to "evaporate" or melt away like cotton candy, usually with a "hole" straight above the aircraft first, then holes start forming in other places.

It's broke and needs to be fixed.

I flew a Vatsim flight in this area.  Overcast remained overcast until I was well south of Indy... as real-world weather data indicated it would. It did not "evaporate"; there was a solid overcast for a good 30 mins.

I don't doubt some people are having some trouble sometimes... but clearly the sim is capable of this, it's not entirely "broke."

The sim is capable of it because Rex Weatherforce nails it every time I've used it, where MSFS live weather often doesn't.
