February 2, 20224 yr Hi! Kind of new of FS2020, but have played around with it. This time I have a better system (RTX 3060 Ti + 5600 X + 16Gb + SSD) and I wonder which settings you think I can apply with this setup? Ive got a 27" 2560 x 1440p monitor with free/g-sync. Could I use medium to high settings in the game, and which framrate should I aim for? Any other settings I should change in the game to make it better (no need to be better gfx). Datasettings, AI planes etc... Cheers! =)
February 2, 20224 yr Might make sure you are using The RTX flavor of drivers with your 3060, I went almost a year after getting a 3060 running The GTX versions. (Big Difference) I know, I just revealed my ignorance. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
February 2, 20224 yr My system is similar to yours and I run pretty will everything Ultra. RTX3070 (not much different to 3600ti) 5600X 32 GB RAM (No different to running with 16 GB TBH). 1440 32 inch G Sync monitor ATM I run with G Sync off and use V Sync locked at 30 fps which I find more stable. Suggest you start with default Nvidia settings and default msfs settings. Then leave Nvidia settings alone and crank up the settings in msfs to ultra Moving from 1080 to 1440 recently, I found that I need a lot less antialiasing which takes a lot of strain off the GPU. Hope this helps you. You will still take a hit at EGLL/KJFK level airports but that mostly will still be a CPU based it rather than your GPU card not being able to cope and it would be a lot more bearable rather than a slideshow. I would lock at 30 and be done with it. Nope. just leave Nvidia settings at default, though I do play around with the brightness, contrast, digital vibrance, etc. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

February 4, 20224 yr Unable then: for my 120 Hz screen, that would mean 60 fps. If I lock it to 20, I get 40. But, unless there's a way to force 15 FPS (I've already voted for this request at MSFS forums), I got no option 😢 Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. It seem to work very well? - Vsync OFF - Max Performance - 35 fps - Disable Multithread (not sure that is the correct name of it) I have got almost all settings to high, just a very few to mid. None Ultra. It looks fluid to me, but I still cant figure out why I cant use Vsync and Cap in game.... (with NCP turned off / default)
