February 11, 20224 yr Hi, Default Drone speed is 4% and the only way to change the speed is using the toolbar’s menu. Moreover, as soon as we leave Drone view, we have to set this value again, which is disturbing and annoying. I suggest: 1/ Making Drone Speed increase/decrease assignable with keyboard and controllers, same as Translation and Rotation speeds. 2/ Adding a SAVE function, so we can save the chosen drone speed to a certain value without having to set it higher each time. But I've changed things around alot in the last few weeks so now I'm not certain. Edited February 11, 20224 yr by hangar Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
February 11, 20224 yr I can adjust the drone speed on the fly as I assigned my F5 and F6 keys to the speed control. CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

February 11, 20224 yr I already assigned the drone speed to controller buttons and using like that for a long time. Edited February 11, 20224 yr by kt069 Intel i7-9700K - AMD 7900 XT (VRAM 20GB) - 32 Gb Ram - SSD Drive - Win10 x64 - Samsung 43" 4K TV - Quest 3 VR

No you can't. 4 minutes ago, kt069 said: I already assigned these to controller buttons and using like that for a long time. And no, you didn't.🙂 Talking about Drone Speed, not drone rotation or drone translation. And there is no way to assign it to controllers, thus my request. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
February 11, 20224 yr I can increase the drone speed with the F2 key. I think this is the default key to increase the drone speed. When I do this, the drone travels much faster. I usually do this to travel around the airport with the drone view. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
February 11, 20224 yr F2 increases drone speed. This works for horizontal and vertical movements. F2 is bound to "Increase drone translation speed". "Decrease drone translation speed" has no default key. I don't think that "translation" speed is any other than actual speed. Or is it? Edited February 11, 20224 yr by crimplene

For me, F2 makes the drone move faster horizontally around the airport. I can travel faster to different parts of the airport with F2. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Not the speed of drone itself. But isn't it the same thing ? By this way you are able to control the drone speed.
