The sound pack is a replacement using their own sounds. The other mod was changing the delivered config files which AS claimed was a breach of copyright since they were distributing their file with amendments I believe.

Hmmm. Well seeing as Aerosoft do not seem to be willing to update the sounds themselves I have no choice other than to cough up. I can't tolerate flying the plane as it is.

Yup, it's a a very good aircraft apart from the sounds imho. AS really should have had the improved sounds in place by now, hopefully it won't be too much longer and they will be worth the wait but I fully appreciate people picking up a replacement.

My problem is that I can't  delete it from content manager.  It keeps coming back as installed everytime I restart MSFS. ☹️

I've installed the FTsims sounds and they are much better. But they are still lacking in many areas. Still, at least I can now fly it.

Besides the sounds I especially dislike how it looks and feels during flight.  Mostly my perceptions I guess.

Smart decision on Aerosofts part. Don't waste time and energy  fixing the sound, wait until the user gets disgusted, and buys a mod to fix the problem...😉

Will be interesting to see what becomes of their next aircraft project. I suspect people will be a lot more wary before purchasing this time around. I'm surprised more wasn't made of the sounds by the Youtube previews - I flagged this up on the AS forums as soon as they were posted as it was soo obvious in the videos there were issues with sounds. The answer on the forums was that sounds were still being worked prior to release! This was clearly a release to date regardless of current state.

Well I don't know but it seems to me that they very carefully selected YouTube reviewers who, so grateful for click bait, would not be honest in previewing the plane. I was drawn in and was sold a pup.

Aerosoft made it clear to testers that sounds were WIP right up to the release date. Some reviewers did comment on the sounds in a benign way, mostly by saying they were WIP. The sounds are much better now than they were at release, so it seems to me that some of the more damning comments here must be referring to how they were at release, which we can all agree wasn't great.

Ha...I'd like to know that as well.. They apparently reworked them at one stage but I could never discern any improvement at all. In fact I think they got a little more annoying if anything.

Anyway...I've moved on from this plane now so really don't care any more. At least I won't be wasting any more money in future on their products.

I see there's a new thread for Brussels Airport airport mod, but skipped passed it when I saw it was by Aerosoft.  There will have to be a lot of positive reaction to it before I even take a look.
