Goos for you Hi-Flyer.  You've got a friend.  If she treats you right she's got friend forever.

Nice story I've been following.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Okee dokee… 🤯

Getting up this morning, saw Nala across the room, and not wanting to startle her, slowly started getting out of bed. At that point, she apparently made up her mind about me, raced across the room and skidded to a halt, then, staring up at me, she started meowing…

Well, now I was the startled one, and warily I meowed back. Suddenly there was a cat in bed with me who was determined to be petted. Pretty abrupt state change on her part!? 🐈

Hours later… She’s been following me around meowing for attention occasionally all day. I have to say, I wasn’t expecting this sort of behavior out of her for weeks, if not months, especially considering the shelter saying that after over a year, they could barely pet her, occasionally.

Fantastic news. She's a gorgeous cat. Reminds me of a cat I once had called Corky.

Clearly she has now realised she's in safe hands and in a loving home.

A nice piece of dog food there.  She is lovely  though.

Nala is still wary of others, but has decided that me and her can be buds.....

After hiding upstairs for months, she has decided to explore the rest of the house, and in the last few weeks can now be spotted in random locations at all hours of the day and night...

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
