After they moved server I installed the new .exe file no problems at all - no re-install of aircraft or flightplans were required - I have every airline installed.

This is actually incorrect.  If you install an airline that uses a small prop like the PC-12, you will see every GA plane, but it will be displayed as a PC-12.  No hardship at all for me as the skies are full of GA.  AIG now has many business jets, Twin Otters and small GA twins, you just have to make sure you have the airline loaded.

Yes. Fair enough. I do have every airline installed. I was rather referring to small Private GA statics at small GA airfields and such where no airline is involved. Also any airport with no flight plans and you get no planes at all. With Simple Traffic you can still have the Ai static aircraft slider up to taste so you see them.

With both my most frequently used airports (EGTE and EGSH) I get zero traffic with AIG except for a rare Flybe appearance at EGTE as I installed the legacy Flybe flight plans.

I use RealTraffic so I see GA everywhere.  I did some circuits at Andrewsfield with several other aircraft in the circuit yesterday.

So I got AIG installed and running. It might just be my setup, or something I did wrong, but the Traffic Controller crashes / shuts down often. Happened 3x on a 5 hour flight.

When it runs, it's absolutely perfect. All I need is a radar Contact 4 like ATC program and I'm set!

For this and other reasons I no longer recommend AIG for MSFS. Users need to try it for themselves. There's a reason why it says BETA on the ap.

I have no experience with AIG TC, but AIG itself is absolute top quality, it just needs RealTraffic and PSXT - which has never ever crashed on my system.  At least tell others how good it can be!

PSXT takes real world traffic from RealTraffic and injects it into MSFS.

Yeah, In December the AIG team said the TC crashes are a SimConnect issue requiring ASOBO to prioritize a fix.

I wish I knew about this before spending an entire day downloading 20+ GB of content. It's not really a usable program if it crashes every 5 minutes. Ugh...

Edit: Nevermind. I thought he meant MSFS was crashing, not TC itself.

I'm shooting in the dark here, but does anyone know how to make AIG models work with base ASOBO live traffic? It should just look at airline name and aircraft type and pick a model/livery, right?

I can't use the AIG Traffic Controller and I'm trying to find substitutes before I delete all the files. I know RealTraffic is an alternative, but I get to fly MSFS maybe once a month due to work, and I can't justify paying $10 a flight just for decent traffic.

@WestAir If you used AIG Manager to download and install the airlines you wanted, then they should show when they match Asobo's live traffic, no need to run TC. Have you checked your community folder to see if AIGM put the aig-aitraffic-oci-beta file in there?

Oh, so the ASOBO LIVE TRAFFIC will pull AIG models if the manager installed them?

And yeah AIG is installed correctly. I'm just one of the luck few who has a TC that often closes during use.
