It also comes with very generous discount codes if you want to buy the turbo III/IV or the Warrior later. I have all three of them, mainly because of the discounts. I prefer the non-turbo Arrow III as well although the Turbo is better suited for longer flights at altitude. The Warrior is a great aircraft for short hops. The 'slower and lower' non-turbo Arrow gives you much more opportunity to appreciate the lovely MSFS scenery ! I'm planning to use it to retrace the MacRobertson air race route flown by O. Cathcart Jones and K.F. Waller from the UK to Melbourne, Australia in 1934. It's going to take a while, but I really do love the JF Arrow. :O) Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

March 5, 20224 yr Author Great aircraft...does the IV have beacons? Or just wing tip strobes? Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
March 5, 20224 yr The IV doesn't have beacons. The III does. Quote Lighting system Lights fitted to the aircraft include navigation, anti-collision, landing, instrument panel and cabin dome lights. The Turbo Arrow III is fitted with a tail-mounted beacon light. The navigation lights are controlled by a rocker switch on the main switch panel. Panel lights are controlled by rheostat switches located below and to the right of the pilot’s yoke, adjacent to the engine instruments. A light mounted in the overhead panel provides instrument and cockpit lighting for night flying. The light is controlled by a rheostat switch located adjacent to the light. The anti-collision and landing lights are controlled by rocker switches on the main switch panel.

Thx The main problem I had was the rudder trim. I could not figure out how to set it for a normal takeoff, without veering off the runway. I found there is a center rudder trim command in MSFS, assigned a button to that, and it showed me where center should be. Here is post, I couldn't figure out how to link it. Sender46 about 19 hours ago @bobsk8 said in Any news on the weird ground roll behavior?: What are pilots using to properly adjust the rudder trim prior to takeoff, in order to eliminate the need for excessive rudder input to keep the aircraft centered on the runway as the aircraft picks up speed prior to rotation? Obviously it's difficult to look vertically down at the rudder trim indicator, so there is parallax error when viewing it from the pilot's position. From my pilot position I know that the rudder trim is neutral when the white/silver mark inside the aperture is midway between the long centre marks and the short marks closest to me (hope that makes sense). Not a very accurate visual indication, I agree, but I also know what position the wear pattern on the knob should be in for neutral, which gives me a more accurate visual indication. If you have a key/button allocated to the Reset Rudder Trim command, you can use that to set it at neutral. I don't touch the rudder trim before takeoff. Since installing the latest update (v0.10.3) I'm not experiencing any need for excessive rudder input to keep the aircraft on the runway centreline. Even with a 10 knot crosswind it's not too difficult to keep it on the centreline with rudder and aileron input. Edited March 7, 20224 yr by Bobsk8
