March 4, 20224 yr Hi, just want to know which one is recommended more, the Just Flight Arrow III or the Carenado ? I know there is a big price difference between the two, I do have the 337 from Carenado and love it. March 4, 20224 yr I'm not the usual Carenado hater, in fact I own quite a few. But Just Flight is my favourite by a mile. I never fly the regular version anymore.. Edited March 4, 20224 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
March 4, 20224 yr Just Flight, Just Flight, Just Flight - repeat infinitum. I do have several Carenado aircraft and enjoy them, but you did ask which is recommended more 🙂 Edited March 4, 20224 yr by MrBitstFlyer CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090 Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440 Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

March 4, 20224 yr Just Flight's Arrow's allow you to save the aircraft state so that it will be in the same state next time you use it. The Turbo Arrow's allow you over-boost the engine and risk sticking the wastegate in the open condition. You can also run them out of oil. I like the T-tail of the IV. I really like these vintage Gulf liveries for the JF Arrows, they quite remind me of Steve McQueen in Lemans. https://flightsim.to/file/22855/justflight-piper-p28r-turbo-arrow-iii-gulf-worldtour-vintage https://flightsim.to/file/22877/justflight-piper-p28r-arrow-iv-gulf-worldtour-vintage Edited March 4, 20224 yr by Waldo Pepper
March 4, 20224 yr That lightning bolt reminds me of the American Airlines "lightning bolt" livery from the 1950's. As to the Arrow...I only own the Just Flight Arrow/Turbo Arrow. I enjoy flying the Turbo Arrow (IV mostly but also the III). If you get to altitude -- and the Turbo ones can do this -- you can really go relatively fast if that's a criteria you're interested in. I've even had a Ground Speed of over 200 knots before, with a nice tailwind at 18,000 feet, although usually it's not quite that fast. March 5, 20224 yr It is sort of a "Big Mac drive through meal" versus "quality sit down restaurant meal" scenario. Both have their place. There is nothing wrong with the Carenado, but they target a different market - casual weekend flyers that want a "pretty " ride that is easy to fly to add to their hanger. They have no serious issues, look good, are well priced, but can be a bit "generic". Just Flight is the way to go if you are serious about flying the aircraft a lot. In terms of WHICH of the PA28 from just Flight to get (I own all of them): the Warrior II has the most realistic "feel" to it and is the pick of the three offerings, beautiful to fly and really immersive BUT with fixed gear and prop and no turbo it is best suited to short scenic flights below 10,000 feet and circuit work the Turbo Arrow package offers RG and a CSU prop and a turbo charger for enhanced high altitude performance. It is the best of the three for longer trips and operation at altitude, especially in mountains. the Standard Arrow offers RG and a CSU prop but no turbo charger. It performs slightly better than the Warrior for longer trips but cannot match the Turbo. A good all round aircraft but not the ideal choice if you are just buying the one JF PA28. TL&DNR if you are only buying the one choose either the JF Warrior II for the fantastic realistic and immersive modelling or get the JF Turbo Arrow package if you spend a lot of time at altitude or on longer flights. March 5, 20224 yr I have the Just Flight Arrow III ( non turbo ) and I absolutely love it. It also comes with very generous discount codes if you want to buy the turbo III/IV or the Warrior later. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
